Recycling the Car!

Jennifer and her husband are cycling enthusiasts. They found less and less need for their car. So they traded their car with some friends, who in exchange provided hard landscaping in the garden.

Old whisky barrels from Scotland now stand on the drive, filled with fruit trees and planted with strawberries and herbs. The small orchard now surrounds raised vegetable beds built with recycled wood from a neighbour's loft conversion. This sunny fruit garden has become a place where neighbours meet to chat.
