50 The Greenway, Bristol
This garden for a family home was designed to create a haven for wildlife on a previously empty site. The goal was to create as many different habitats as possible within a small suburban plot, and build a path of discovery to take the visitor through the different parts of the garden. The finished garden included four new trees, a pond, a green roof on the brick 1940’s air-raid shelter used as a storage shed, a wild flower meadow, bee and butterfly borders, a herb border, a patio dining area and a secluded pergola seating area.
